We've used Cutting Edge before and always receive excellent work & customer service. This time we had them remove a really large tree and grind down the stump. The ground was wet from the rains and snow melt and they put down material to prepare the ground for the heavy equipment. They really made sure to take care of the yard area. Speaking of equipment they had this giant tree cutting crane which made the operation safer and efficient. This company is really super great and Highly recommended

ONCE AGAIN CHAD TO THE RESCUE!!! I Was panicked when I noticed a dead tree in my back yard resting in a large pine tree, the dead tree had snapped at the bottom and was leaning. I was so afraid with the upcoming wind and rain that the limb may fall and hit my house. I reached out to Chad on Sunday night and he responded immediately to assure me he would come this morning to check things out for me. Well as promised he was there at the crack of dawn and saw my urgency and dispatched a crew to my house right away. We had three very large 40+year old oak trees pruned and several large limbs overhanging our home removed. We were highly concerned about damage, tree health and having anyone injured doing a dangerous job. Cost was our next concern.
A crew of eight+plus an Arborist came to our location and performed the work. They were well orchestrated, it was like art work, they were a real team. The Arborist came a day before and noted what we wanted and added his professional recommendations. Everyone was involved 100% and clean up was complete. Tree trimming is costly and can’t be avoided risk wise. Their bid was well in range. We would highly recommend this team!

There were two steps. The first was a free inspection by Gary, a tree expert. Gary examined all my tree and made recommendations. He was very honest and did not try to up sell me on services. Gary has a long history of professional tree work and is truly an expert on tree. The second part was the tree removal and trimming by Alejandro. They were fast and efficient. The work was perfect and the team made sure to clean up and tree waste. Very professional.

My husband and I are completely satisfied with the highly professional, polite and personable service we received from all “Cutting Edge Tree Experts” staff (office administrator Laura, job estimator Gary, and Joe and his very competent tree removal/pruning team). It was a particularly hot day (8/3/22) and it was mesmerizing to watch the guys carefully remove a huge, live Bradford pear and 3 dead trees, and also trim back branches of an oak tree overhanging our roof on. They took great care to ensure our property was not damaged, mulched all tree debris on site and removed it, and cleaned up everything. Before leaving, Joe made sure we were happy with all aspects of their work. Owner Chad and his son also stopped by while the team was working and checked that we were okay with everything. Chad sent his crew of about 10 guys to my house to prune a 30' Honey Locust tree that had become overgrown. These guys showed up, pruned the tree, and were out in 30 minutes. They left absolutely nothing behind, not a leaf, not a stick, nothing. The best part of the experience was the result of the pruning. The tree looks amazing! They trimmed and thinned the tree allowing for maximum shade"per my request", and opened the inside to allow light to enter through the canopy. Truly amazing work and will recommend!

These guys do great work. They took out about 11 100ft-ish poplars in just three days. Hauled it off and ground the stumps. They were as careful as they could be with our lawn and clearly took pride in their work.

It went very well. They never spike the trees. They are careful with limbs cut from the trees so that they do no damage when they come down (usually via ropes and guides). They clean up all the limbs and sawdust. The are amazing to watch at work because they work carefully and safely.

I recently used cutting edge tree experts for a tree removal job at my residence. They were very prompt and professional. I highly recommend them to anyone who needs tree removal services.

The team of 5 or 6 men arrived in the morning at the scheduled time. They had several trucks and many pieces of equipment. They checked in with us to review the work we had requested. Their plan was correct - everything we wanted done was listed. We have two 20 year old trees: pin oak, sugar maple, and a 40+ year old wild cherry that was here before our houses were built. Cutting Edge did a fantastic job raising the three trees (removing all limbs below ~7 ft off the ground), removed dead limbs, shortening overly long limbs, and thinning out internal branches to reduce wind load. They also pulled out the four old border bushes, ground the stumps below the surface and filled in the holes with top soil. They also trimmed out a lot of dead bottom limbs from five bordering Leland cypress trees - those limbs were a real nuisance to anyone cutting our grass. The team cleaned up ALL debris and left our yard in excellent condition. Fours after they started they were done. We are impressed and have scheduled them to return and prune two crepe myrtles and a Nellie Stevens holly next February. We highly recommend Cutting Edge Tree service.

Remarkable work to witness. They definitely know what they are doing. They are not touchy feely--size up the job, set a date, come, clean up, leave. End of story. They removed a 40 foot tall maple in a day with no damage to property other than a dented gutter which they straightened out. Pretty daring stuff. Needed a second day to grind out stump. Left us with a mountain of mulch.

Cut down one large dead tree, removed a very small dead tree and cut up a tree that fell and damaged a neighbor's fence behind the house. They even nailed the rails back up on the broken fence. The man who came out to the home for an estimate was friendly and professional. The team came right on time, were very friendly and did a fabulous job. I would absolutely recommend this company.

The day after I contacted Cutting Edge I found a written estimate in my front door. I followed up and spoke with Gary to clarify some details. I was satisfied, and the price was within the range I expected. I was told the current expected time for the work would be 2-3 weeks depending on weather and it turned out to be just about 3 weeks. I was told a crew of about 7 would come out to do all the work at the same time and would take 4-5 hours. As promised a 7 person crew arrived at about 11:00 A.M. and were finished by about 3:00 P.M. In short, everything worked out as promised. All communication was answered promptly and satisfactorily. The crew did a very thorough job. I was particularly pleased with the trimming of the arbor vitae trees. They were overgrown and shaggy, and now look great. The crabapple got a long overdue pruning and should look great in the spring when it blooms. The maple tree was taken down quickly and safely with no damage to the yard or my deck. Just as importantly, the crew did a great cleanup job. They brought a large chipper with them and everything was run through it. I was totally pleased with this company and look forward to using them again in the future.

The initial estimate was high, but I was very impressed by the young man that came out and wanted Cutting Edge to do the work, so I called and explained what the competitors were pricing and asked what they could do. The owner stopped by a day or two later to take a look. He figured out a way to split up his teams (to make it more efficient), told me the debris would have to sit for a day (fine with me), and matched my best price. I think we were both happy. I was VERY pleased with all the work they did. It looks fantastic, they cleaned up after themselves well, and were very concerned that I be happy with the results.

A team of four people came out and it took them a day. They did a really good job.

I chose them because of their rating and in talking to the person who looked at the property; I felt he knew what he was talking about. He was professional, knowledgeable and he gave me a price right then and that was important to me. I think if it is a small business, they should be able to give me a quote right then. Everything is great with them. I will know obviously after they come out and do the tree removal but they are fantastic so far.

The large crew removed 15 trees in about 3 hours. They were professional, courteous and attentive to cleaning up meticulously. I have used the company before and will again for removals and tree trimming/topping.

The company did have to reschedule due to some emergency tree issues after a heavy storm, but it did communicate this in advance which I appreciated. Furthermore, it responded quickly with an estimate of the job's cost, worked efficiently, and did a really great job with the trees. In fact, some of my neighbors even commented on how efficiently the crew worked. All I'm waiting on now is for them to come back with their stump grinder and remove the leftover stumps. I sent an email on a Sunday afternoon and received a prompt phone call to schedule an estimator for the job. The estimate and signed contract were done the next day. Due to a busy spring, the job would be done in 4-5 weeks. The contractor arrived a month later as promised. The job was done quickly and professionally. I was impressed with the workers and their attention to detail. The tree location was in the corner of a 7' high privacy fence - the work was done with no damage to the fence.

Everything went smoothly. They worked efficiently and quickly and did a great job removing all debris, including additional yard waste I had lying around.

They called me back the same day and set up a time for an estimate. They came out and gave us a quick written estimate which turned out to be a few hundred less than previous estimates for a bit more work. We did have to remove mulch and wood chips from the trees they removed out front but we had discussed that prior and knew that we'd be responsible for that. It did snow a few more times that season so we didn't get to that right away, and when we did we noticed there were a few roots still in the ground. We contacted them again and they were again very professional and prompt about coming back out to grind down the roots. We were very happy to have them do the job and love keeping work local to the area.

The crew did a great job in pruning and shaping one of our trees. They arrived on time, consulted with us so that we were able to get the final look that we wanted, and always were easy and pleasant to work with. When they finished the job, the clean-up was thorough and no trash was left behind. We will have them back for future tree work.

Gary (I think that was his name, I forgot) came to my home to look at the trees I needed removed and gave me a quote. A few days after agreeing to the contract, their crew showed up to remove the trees. I was not home while they did their work, so I did not meet the crew personally, but their work was great. They removed the trees and just left a small pile of wood chips in their place. I thought their price was very reasonable for the amount of work.

They were amazingly fast. They did no damage to the yard with their equipment. They were in and out in one morning. When he set up the appt for the estimate he showed up on the appointed day and gave us an estimate for 5 trees and 8 stumps. We added another tree at the last minute and my husband renegotiated the price with them on the day they took down all of the trees. They were very flexible about it since we paid them in cash.

These guys did an outstanding job. Gary came by to provide the estimate and was great to work with. The estimate was VERY reasonable. I wasnt home when the work was done, but when I got home I could see that they trimmed the two trees, and the overhanging neighbors tree branches in my back yard, the way that I wanted. The estimator came out right on time and gave us an estimate that was competitive with other tree services. When the scope of our project changed to include removal of another tree, he happily and quickly came out and gave us a good price for the work. The scheduling was a little unusual, because they asked that we send in the signed contract, and said that they would call us a couple days before the work was to be done. They said that this was because rain can really change their schedules, so I didn't mind that. They said that they would call with the work date within 2 weeks, and they did. On the day the work was to be done, a crew of 6 guys finished the job in less than 2 hours - it was amazing to watch. They agreed to keep their trucks and machinery off our very narrow, private shared driveway so our neighbors could pass by. It was an unusually hot day, and they used a bobcat to move the cut tree branches up our very, very steep hill. They left the area free of debris except for the wood pieces that we requested to be left as firewood. They were professional, cheerful, efficient, and did each item exactly as we asked! We are happy with the work, and we would recommend them and use them again!

We had 8-10 foot branch break off in one of our trees, and of course it was hung-up about 25-30 feet up. There was no possible way for us to get it down without calling a tree service. We hadn't used Cutting Edge before, but as they had high ratings we thought we would give them a call. Sent them an e-mail and I was called the following work day, and had a nice conversation with Joyce about what we needed and where the house was. I was told that there would be someone out there the following day to take a look and give us an estimate. When we got home, the estimate was on the door. That is good business/service, do what you say you are going to do. The estimate was reasonable, as there was no easy way to get to the branch excapt by climbing the tree. It had a bit of priority as it was hanging over our neighbors yard, and the HOA had sent us a letter about it. I was told that they were currently working at about two weeks out, but that Joyce would talk to the scheduling supervisor as it was a hanging branch and could pose a danger to our neighbors. I got a call-back that afternoon, Wednesday the 28th, that they were going to send a crew out on Friday the 30th! Now that is service. The crew arrived on Friday and quickly got to work, with one guy harnessed and up in the tree, and the other guy with the safety line. they had the branch down and came by to let me know that it was still attached pretty good, but that it would have eventually fallen down.They cleaned up the mess and were on their way. We were very happy with the service, and that they were willing to take care of the branch so quickly. They also gave us a great quote on some future work we have planned, so they will be back.

This was the second time we used this company and we couldn't be happier! Their prices are more than reasonable compared to other quotes we received. Carl and his crew were fantastic! They arrived early in the morning and got right to work. My three year old loved watching the men climb the trees. The trees came down quickly and the debris was cleaned up and removed efficiently. Carl took his time grinding the stumps to make sure he got all of them. He also grounded a few more stumps that were left from tree work done a year ago by this company. There was no additional charge to have the stumps ground, as they were supposed to have been done last time. This also applied to some other areas in our backyard. I really appreciate how the company stands behind their work and wants it to be perfect. We also had a troublesome stump from a weedy shrub growing right up against our home. I asked if they could remove it and without hesitating, they got their chain attached it to their machine, and pulled it out. Impressive!

A crew of 9 or so men arrived on time and worked on more than one tree at a time. The workers were obviously experienced and trained, and stripped the trees of branches within a couple of hours. They felled the trees in sections with professionalism and no mishaps. (Keep in mind, two trees were between my house and my neighbor's house, a distance of maybe 20 feet, with one tree a few inches from my garage.) The company left the grounds clean (aside from the stump grindings which I knew they would leave). Also impressive is that perennial and landscaping plants surrounding the trees were not damaged, although the estimator warned me that damage could occur to them.

Half of our work was due to a desire to reduce the amount of tree shade on our roof prior to installation of solar panels. Our project coincided with a period of very bad weather that caused extensive tree damage to other areas of the county. Therefore, our work was delayed because other folks had a much more critical need for tree service. Because he knew our solar contractor was due to start work very soon. Chad was eventually able to make time for us & his crew continued to finish that portion of the job even after the rains began again. The work included trimming & reshaping a very old dogwood tree. Because I could not be home on that day, the tree was cut in more extensively from the sides than I had expected, but the final shaping was very good. If at all possible, the homeowner should be available when the work is done to minimize the possibility of such a problem. After the weather improved, they returned to perform the portion of the job that did not impinge on the solar installation. Overall, we are pleased with the work and would recommend Cutting Edge to our friends.

what impressed me the most about Cutting Edge is that once, while removing a tree, a dead branch fell on our fence. This was no fault of theirs but they took full responsibility and the owner came and repaired our fence on a holiday weekend. He offered to do it himself or would cover the cost if I preferred using the original fence company to repair the damage. Since this incident, we have been loyal customers. They do great work and are very professional. They know how to please their clients and know the value of repeat customers. I highly recommend their services.

They were able to work me in after a neighbor's job (they're popular in our development). They took the big tree right out, winched both trees to the chipper, chipped 'em up along with some other limbs and brush, cleaned up, and left. They always clean up the job site well, and are eager to answer questions and address and of my issues or concerns. I recommend them and will use them again.

We live on a wooded lot and this is the second time we have used Cutting Edge to remove dangerous trees. They have done excellent work for us at a very fair price. They seem very competent at the core job of cutting trees safely so that no one gets hurt and nothing falls on the house. In addition they were very thorough in their cleanup and Chad the owner talked with me afterward to ensure that I was satisfied.

We were so over charged by the other company and Cutting Edge Tree was more professional. They were terrific. They came out on time. The clean up job they did was extra. They did extra clean up because my neighbor is so precise in keeping his property clean. Some of the mud and debris was over on our neighbor’s yard and so they took extra time to clean up the neighbor’s yard as well. This was in the street. This was the debris from the truck like mud and other things that had fallen, so they took the time to clean up the entire area in front of the neighbor’s street because I requested them to do so. They said that they understood perfectly. It was a hot day and they were sweating but they did it. We were very pleased with them and I would absolutely use them again. I would recommend them to anybody. I would use their services again in the future.
